First Blog! :)

Hey everyone!

My names Shya :) I'm kind of shy at first but once I get to know you I'm outgoing and really funny. I'm really random so that is why this is all over the place. I'm a health education major but I probably won't stick with it because I'm very indecisive. I think I want to be a dietician but I eat really unhealthy so I'm not sure how that is going to go. My favorite color is pink and purple. Everything must be neat and clean in order for me to function. I am not a fan of reading unless I really enjoy the book. I would rather read magazines. Facebook is my life! Just kidding but I am on it all the time.

I'm from Chillicothe, Illinois It's about 20 minutes outside of Peoria.  I love hanging out with my friends and doing crazy random things. I would go crazy if i didn't have my friends around me. Fortunately some of them go to ISU as well!  I have three dogs and three cats. I have one brother and one sister who are both younger than me. I love being around my family. We have a close knit family so I think that is why I miss them so much.

I went to Illinois Valley Central High School. Our mascot was the grey ghosts! ;) I was involved in volleyball, softball and the dance team. Volleyball was my favorite! We had a really good volleyball team my junior year and that is when I really started to enjoy volleyball.

So far are I am really enjoying ISU. At first I was nervous about being away from everyone but now it has gotten a lot easier for me.
